Minecraft 1.21.11 “Mounts of Mayhem” is NOW LIVE

Hey everyone! The final Minecraft update of 2025 just dropped a few hours ago and it’s absolutely massive.

Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11 – officially named Mounts of Mayhem – is here, and we’re thrilled to announce that it’s already available on Plox.host with true one-click installation through PloxHost Panel. No manual uploads, no waiting for Paper/Spigot builds – just select 1.21.11 and you’re ready to ride into the chaos.

Let’s break down everything new in this update so you know exactly why your next server needs to be running Mounts of Mayhem today.

The Spear – A Brand New Melee Weapon

After years of waiting, we finally have a new weapon!
The Spear can be crafted in every material tier (including netherite) and has two attack styles:

  • Quick jab (fast multi-hits)
  • Charged thrust – the longer you charge and the faster you’re moving, the more damage it does (elytra + spear = one-hit aerial kills!)

New exclusive enchantment: Lunge
Launches you forward and knocks enemies away horizontally (uses hunger, perfect for PvP).

Nautilus – The Underwater Mount You’ve Always Wanted

Meet the Nautilus: a giant rideable squid-like mob that you can tame with pufferfish. While riding it you get:

  • Infinite water breathing (Breath of the Nautilus effect)
  • Its own inventory
  • Armor slots – yes, you can put netherite armor on your squid!

Nautiluses spawn naturally in all ocean biomes and are going to completely change ocean exploration and monument raiding.

New Mob Variants & Tameable Undead Horses

  • Camel Husks – desert raiders with spear-wielding husk riders
  • Zombie Nautilus – drowned riding zombified nautiluses in warm oceans
  • Parched – sun-immune desert skeletons that shoot Weakness arrows
  • Zombie Horses now spawn naturally in plains & savannas and can be tamed with red mushrooms!

Netherite Horse Armor

Finally! Upgrade your diamond horse armor to netherite in the smithing table. Your horse is now basically invincible.

Horses, Donkeys & Camels Can Swim

No more watching your mount drown in a two-block-deep river. All riding animals now swim properly.

Other Cool Additions

  • Boat with Chest is now craftable in vanilla
  • New /stopwatch command for speedrunners and map makers
  • Frogs now produce froglights when eating magma cubes (yes, still in the game!)
  • Tons of behind-the-scenes changes for datapack creators
